Mary J. Blige Ordered TO Pay $30K A Month In Spousal Support

A judge has just ordered R&B singer Mary J. Blige to $30k a month in spousal support to her estranged husband as their divorce continues to play out. However, we are pretty sure he is upset considering he was demanding a whole lot more.

The court has found that Martin Issacs is entitled to receive money to continue “accommodating” the standard of living that he had become accustomed to while he was with Mary. However, the $30k temporary spousal support a month is less than the $129,319 per month he was demanding, according to TMZ.

Furthermore, the judge also ordered Mary to pay the retroactive spousal support payments dating back to September 2016. The “Not Gon Cry” singer will also have to cover his attorney fees bringing the total to around $235k owed.
The judge also noted that both Mary and Martin were living beyond their means during their marriage and still have taxes to pay back that hit close to the millions.

Mary recently released a new album entitled, “Strength of a Woman.” The album’s tour is set to kick off at the end of July with the first stop in Chicago.
