Salmon with Veggies Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Salmon filet ($6.99 lb)

1 lb Green Beans ($.99 lb)

1 lb Zucchini ($1.29 lb)

1 Red Pepper ($.99 lb)

1 lb Yellow Squash ($1.29 lb)

 

Instructions:

 

– Cut up all of your veggies

–  Lightly season your salmon filet with garlic & herb Mrs. Dash seasoning

– Place your skillet on low heat with a tablespoon of olive oil

– Place the salmon inside once the skillet is heated with the oil

– Place a top over and let it cook slowly for about 10 to 13 minutes

– Place the veggies in a pot with a teaspoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of water

– Season your veggies with the same seasoning as the salmon

– Cook over medium heat for 5 – 8 minutes covered.  Let them steam but don’t let them overcook

– Once salmon and veggies are done you are ready to eat

 

Things to Note

This lean meal is good for belly flattening, weight loss,  and good for dinner or date night.  It’s delicious and hard to tell how healthy it is by how good it tastes.  Keep in mind that in order to get that booty and waistline you want for the summer, you absolutely have to eat as healthy as possible.  Your diet is more important than your workout when it comes to losing weight.  This is a cheap yet healthy meal that will help you reach your goals.  Try this recipe and tell me what you think.
