Dekalb Sheriff Says He’s Working to Clear “Public Indecency” Charge

This past Saturday night, Dekalb County Sheriff, Jeffrey Mann says he is working hard to clear the public indecency charge.

The Dekalb Sheriff was hit with two misdemeanors after he allegedly exposed himself just before fleeing from Atlanta police officers. According to police reports obtained by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, as Mann walked in the direction of police officers, he exposed himself. When the officer reportedly shined his flashlight on the Sheriff while identifying himself, Mann took off running leading the police on a quarter-mile run before finally giving up. Mann was taken to the Atlanta City Detention Center, where he was booked and later bonded out.

According to Reports, The Sheriff emailed WSBTV and said that he is working with the city on “clearing his name.”
