Regardless of the constant backlash, Rihanna and Chris Brown are indeed back together! Tonight, Law & Order:SVU will air a domestic violence episode titled, “Funny Valentine”, with actors and I story line having a striking resemblance to Chris and Ri. There were even jokes (insults) thrown at the two at the Oscars when the host compared the violence in the movie Django Unchained to their relationship.

Chris Brown attended Elton John’s Aids Foundation Oscars party on Sunday and opened up about his violent past with Rihanna. Describing the incident to Mirror as the “deepest regret” in his life.

“That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake, but she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it,” he said.

Rihanna and Chris Brown attended the Grammys together this year, which marked the 4 year anniversary of Chris beating Rihanna to a pulp in 2009.

“I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted,” Chris Brown said. “I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.”

“People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time, but they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me anymore.”

He continued, “Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything.”

Rihanna also spoke with Mirror in an interview that was published this week.

“It’s different now,” she said. “We don’t have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about [stuff]. We value each other. He’s not the monster everyone thinks. He’s a good person. He has a fantastic heart. He’s giving and loving. And he’s fun to be around. That’s what I love about him. He always makes me laugh.”

They sound like two typical young love birds in a bad situation. Granted, they are both very young it is wise that they both learn from their mistakes, but the domestic abuse cycle is very real. Usually these types of things happen more than once, hopefully it doesn’t. All you can do is wish them the best, or not. It looks like their mind is made up either way.
